Which enzyme was isolated by Buchner from yeast?

The enzyme isolated by Buchner from the yeast was Zymase. He showed that the fermentation of sugar to alcohol and carbon dioxide is due to the action of different enzymes present in yeast and not due to the yeast cell. He isolated the enzyme Zymase and showed that this enzyme responsible for the fermentation process. He was awarded the Nobel prize in Chemistry in 1907 for this discovery.
