Correct! Wrong!

Immunoglobulin E or IgE is an isotype of antibodies that synthesized by Plasma cells. Immunoglobulin E is only found in mammals. IgE binds to the Fc receptors FcεRI found on the surface of mast cells and activates the mast cells for IgE-mediated allergic response. Cross-linking of FcεRI bound IgE due to antigens or allergens causes degranulation or the release of mediators from the mast cells and secretion of several types of cytokines.
